A WORD FROM MIKE SMITH, THE INVENTOR
The idea hatched back in 1994, fifteen years later I started thinking about inventing the game of Hammer. There were lots of nights sketching by headlamp, sitting by the warmth of the wood stove where I reside off-the-grid, in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands. These solitary hours in the deep woods held few distractions, besides the wildlife, and this dream helped to keep those cabin walls from closing in during the winter months. After many prototypes, my drawings and designs took shape in some small shops in Ontario, Canada, and I started building the Game of Hammer. Now, it’s a great way for me to spend time with family and friends and I hope you are able to do the same!
Cheers, Mike
